Yes, Sifta supports both Microsoft 365 (business and personal) and Outlook.com accounts via Microsoft's official OAuth standard. The connection flow is the same regardless of which account type you use.

Does it work with on-premise Exchange Server? +

Sifta works with Outlook accounts that use Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com. On-premise Exchange Server installations are supported only when synced through Microsoft 365 — pure on-prem Exchange without cloud sync isn't currently supported.

Does it work with shared mailboxes? +

Sifta is designed for personal inbox monitoring. Shared mailboxes (info@, support@, etc.) require different access patterns and aren't currently supported — Sifta connects to your individual Outlook inbox only.

Sifta uses standard Microsoft Graph OAuth scopes that most Microsoft 365 tenants allow individual users to grant. Some enterprise tenants require admin consent — if so, Sifta provides a one-click admin approval link your IT team can use.
