Zillow Pro for Agents: What It Costs, What's Included, and Is It Worth It
Zillow Pro is a membership that bundles Follow Up Boss, My Agent and a premium Agent Profile with Zillow's buyer data and AI. It went nationwide in July 2026. Zillow doesn't publish a price, the first term is 12 months, and it's the main path into Zillow Preferred. Here's what to know before you sign.
What Zillow Pro is
Zillow Pro is a paid membership for agents that combines Follow Up Boss, My Agent and a premium Agent Profile with Zillow data and AI.
Zillow announced it in October 2025 and took it nationwide on July 9, 2026. Nearly 20,000 agents used it in beta.
Any agent can buy it, whether or not they advertise on Zillow, and it covers clients who came from outside Zillow too.
What's included
The core of Zillow Pro is seeing what your clients do on Zillow, inside Follow Up Boss.
- Follow Up Boss, where Zillow Pro's insights show up.
- My Agent: when a client accepts your invite, you see what they browse, save and search on Zillow, only with their consent. The connection lasts at least 30 days.
- A premium Agent Profile with custom branding, photos and video.
- Your name on listings and emails for the contacts you connect.
- Listing search and sharing inside Follow Up Boss, in supported MLS markets.
- Waitlist priority when Premier Agent buyer leads open up in a sold-out ZIP code.
- Not included: Showcase listings, which you buy one listing at a time.
The AI features
Zillow Pro's AI works inside Follow Up Boss: it flags likely sellers, surfaces your most engaged contacts and drafts outreach.
- Likely to List: an AI tag that flags contacts in your database whose homes may be coming to market.
- AI that surfaces your most engaged contacts, writes personalized outreach and summarizes a contact's history.
- Smart Lists, AI Summaries and AI-recommended outreach, in Zillow's words.
- Follow Up Boss Smart Messages, AI-written emails that Follow Up Boss says get twice the response rate. That's Zillow's own figure.
What Zillow Pro costs
Zillow doesn't publish a price for Zillow Pro; each agent's price is set in their order, by tier and number of seats.
When Zillow announced Pro in October 2025, Inman reported $138 a month for a single seat, with team and brokerage pricing scaled by size. We found no confirmation of that figure since the nationwide launch.
Zillow Preferred partners get Pro at no extra cost through 2026, according to Zillow's announcement. What happens after 2026 isn't stated.
The Close's advice is the right one: get the total price, the seat minimum, the renewal terms and any extra charges in writing before you sign.
The contract
Zillow Pro's terms start with a 12-month minimum and charge a fee if you leave early.
- A 12-month minimum first term, then month to month.
- 30 days' notice to cancel.
- Leaving early costs your monthly fee times the full months left in the first term.
- Every agent seat on the account must be a Pro seat. No Follow Up Boss-only seats.
- Adding seats that move you into a higher tier starts a new 12-month term.
- Your order sets a minimum number of seats.
Zillow Pro vs Premier Agent vs Preferred
Zillow Pro is a membership; Premier Agent is advertising; Preferred is pay-at-closing, and Pro is the main way in.
Zillow says it expects nearly all of its connections to go to Preferred partners over time, and it is aiming for more than 75% by the end of 2026, up from 44% at the end of 2025. Premier Agent is still sold today, and we found no announced national phase-out.
| Program | How you pay | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Zillow Pro | A membership per seat, priced in your order | Follow Up Boss, My Agent, a premium profile, AI tools |
| Premier Agent | Advertising; Zillow quotes an average of $223 per connection in major metros and $139 elsewhere | Buyer connections in the ZIP codes you buy |
| Zillow Preferred | A success fee at closing of 15% to 40% of your commission; 40% on seller leads | Buyer and seller connections; invite-only |
Is it worth it?
It's worth a look if you already use Follow Up Boss, your clients browse on Zillow, and you want a path into Preferred; it's a harder call if you're happy on another CRM.
There's also the data question. When Zillow created a "mutual customer data" category in Follow Up Boss to support Pro, coaches pushed back.
Tom Ferry called it one of Zillow's "most aggressive moves to date." Zillow's answer: shared data only comes into play when a contact has their own relationship with Zillow.
- Good fit: you're already on Follow Up Boss, many past clients shop on Zillow, and you want Preferred.
- Think twice: you're on kvCORE, Lofty or another CRM, since switching takes work and money.
- Think twice: your team has members who only need Follow Up Boss, since you can't mix seat types.
- Think twice: you want month to month from day one.
Where Sifta fits
Zillow Pro tells you who is ready; Sifta drafts the follow-up for you to approve, and it connects to your Follow Up Boss account.
Zillow Pro's AI suggests outreach inside the CRM. Sifta works from your inbox: when a portal lead arrives, it drafts the reply in your voice and texts it to you to approve.
Sifta is an AI assistant built only for real estate agents. Here is what it does:
- Connects to Gmail or Outlook and your calendar, and runs by text from the Messages app on your phone.
- Drafts the reply to each portal lead in your voice, with real open times, and texts it to you to approve.
- Tracks the deal dates it finds in your email.
- Pulls comps on any address you text it.
- Books showings from the group text with your client.
- Briefs you every morning.
It does not make phone calls and it is not a CRM. Sifta Pro is $199 a month.
If Sifta doesn't catch something worth more than the price in week one, you don't pay.
