BoldTrail (kvCORE) Reviews: What Agents Say in 2026

BoldTrail, formerly kvCORE, has two very different reputations. The desktop platform rates 4.5 on G2 from 1,556 reviews and 4.4 on Capterra from 564. The new BoldTrail phone app rates 1.6 on both iPhone and Android, where reviewers describe missing features and slow support.

BoldTrail (kvCORE) ratings, site by site

The widest gap of any CRM we checked: 4.5 on G2 for the desktop platform, 1.6 in both app stores for the new BoldTrail app. The older kvCORE app is still listed at 4.2 on iPhone from 508 ratings. G2 and Capterra counts likely include reviews written under the kvCORE name.

We only list sites with at least 20 reviews. G2 and Capterra reviewers mostly rate the desktop product; app store reviewers rate the phone app.

What agents like about BoldTrail

BoldTrail reviewers keep praising the same three things.

What agents complain about

The five complaints that come up most in BoldTrail reviews, in agents' own words where we could quote them.

The new app lags the desktop version. "The desktop version works fine for me but the app is completely useless." (App Store review, January 2026)

Features went missing in the switch from kvCORE. App Store reviewers in late 2025 describe "Coming Soon" screens in the new app and going back to the old kvCORE app.

Contracts and billing. G2 and Capterra reviewers describe contracts that are hard to leave and charges after they tried to cancel.

Slow support. "I emailed support and have yet to hear from them regarding issues I'm having." (App Store review, August 2025)

Built for brokerages more than solo agents. "The system was misrepresented to me as single-agent friendly, when in reality it's built for teams and brokerages." (App Store review, November 2025)

Who BoldTrail fits, and who should skip it

BoldTrail fits brokerages and large teams that want websites, CRM, marketing and back office on one platform, and agents whose brokerage already pays for it.

Skip it if you are a solo agent paying out of pocket and want a short contract, or you run your business from your phone.

The catch: the desktop platform rates well and the new phone app does not. If your day happens in the car, test the app before you sign.

Is BoldTrail worth it?

If your brokerage provides it, use it; the desktop platform holds a 4.5 on G2 from 1,556 reviews. Paying an estimated $499 or more a month yourself is a harder call when the app you would use between showings sits at 1.6 stars.

What it costs: Not published. Third-party estimates run $499 to $750 a month for a solo agent, plus setup.

Where the work still lands

Good reviews or bad, a CRM records the work. It does not do it.

Concierge AI texts and qualifies new leads in BoldTrail. The deal that is already moving, from the lender's letter to the closing date, is not what BoldTrail describes it doing.

Sifta takes a different shape. There is no app and nothing to log into: it connects to your Gmail or Outlook and your calendar and works by text.

It drafts lead replies in your voice with real open times and texts them to you to approve, keeps track of the deal dates it finds in your email, pulls comps on any address you send it, books showings from the group text with your client, and sends a morning brief.

It is not a CRM, it does not make phone calls, and it does not replace BoldTrail. If your CRM gives you an email-in address, Sifta can copy the lead replies it sends there, so your CRM can log them. Sifta Pro is $199 a month.
