How to pick in one minute

Start from how you get your business, not from the feature list.

The complaints that keep coming up

Across these CRMs, three complaints repeat: the phone app, support that is hard to reach, and contracts that are hard to leave.

The phone app first. A Follow Up Boss reviewer calls the browser version incredible and the app "atrociously slow".

A BoldTrail reviewer says the desktop works fine and the app is "completely useless". A Lofty reviewer says the app logs them out daily.

Then support and contracts. "If you need support, good luck," writes a Lofty reviewer, and another wrote in April 2025 that they had been trying to cancel for six months.

BoldTrail reviewers on G2 and Capterra describe charges after they tried to leave. At the budget end, Wise Agent reviewers complain about data entry, and GoHighLevel reviewers about the learning curve.

Phone app ratings tell a different story

BoldTrail holds 4.5 on G2 and 1.6 in both app stores, the widest gap we found.

Real Geeks (4.9 from about 1,700 ratings) and Sierra Interactive (4.8 from 1,730) have the best-rated phone apps of the agent CRMs we checked. Follow Up Boss rates 4.3 on iPhone but 3.3 on Android.

Wise Agent and Top Producer have no app at all.

G2 and Capterra reviewers mostly judge the desktop product. If you run your business from the car, weigh the app rating first.

What none of them do

Every product on this list is software you log into. Sifta is the one you text.

A CRM holds the record and sends reminders. Some of the platforms above add an AI that texts and qualifies new leads and can book the appointment.

Once a lead becomes a client, the showings, the lender, the dates and the client who wants an answer tonight still run through you.

Sifta does the work around whichever CRM you pick. It connects to your Gmail or Outlook and your calendar and works by text, with no app.

It drafts replies to portal leads in your voice with real open times and texts them to you to approve, tracks the deal dates it finds in your email, books showings from the group text with your client, pulls comps by text, and briefs you every morning.

It is not a CRM, it does not make phone calls, and it does not replace your CRM. If your CRM gives you an email-in address, Sifta can copy the lead replies it sends there, so your CRM can log them. Sifta Pro is $199 a month.
