The real difference

Inside Real Estate built BoldTrail for brokerages, with BoldTrail BackOffice, formerly Brokermint, for transactions and commissions. One App Store reviewer wrote that it was presented as single-agent friendly but is built for teams and brokerages.

Lofty sells Agent, Team, Broker and Enterprise tiers and publishes its AI Sales Agent price in its help center.

Price

Neither publishes a platform price, so compare written quotes.

Third-party reports put Lofty near $449 a month plus $299 to $1,499 in setup (Luxury Presence, a Lofty competitor), and BoldTrail near $499 to $750 a month for a solo agent plus $500 to $1,000 in setup. Lofty's AI Sales Agent is a published $60 a month for 200 leads; BoldTrail does not publish what its AI costs.

Ask both for the contract term in writing.

What agents complain about

The top complaint about Lofty is "Support is hard to reach"; about BoldTrail, "The new app lags the desktop version".

AI

Both have an AI that texts new leads on its own, and both began opening their data to outside AI in 2026.

Lofty's AI Sales Agent and BoldTrail's Concierge AI each text and qualify new leads by themselves. Lofty added an MCP server so outside AI can reach Lofty data; BoldTrail opened BoldTrail BackOffice to AI assistants through MCP in August 2026, in early access.

Lofty's product page also shows outbound AI calling.

Using both, or switching

Reviewers complain about the same two things on both: support and contracts.

The difference is the phone. Lofty's app rates 3.9 on iPhone and 3.2 on Android; the new BoldTrail app rates 1.6 on both.

On the desktop the order flips: BoldTrail holds 4.5 on G2 and 4.4 on Capterra, Lofty 4.3 and 3.8.

What neither one does

Whichever you pick, somebody still has to do the work the CRM reminds you about.

Lofty's AI Sales Agent works new leads inside Lofty. Deals already under contract, and the lender, title and inspection dates that come with them, are not what Lofty describes it doing.

Concierge AI texts and qualifies new leads in BoldTrail. The deal that is already moving, from the lender's letter to the closing date, is not what BoldTrail describes it doing.
