Lofty AI: What the AI Sales Agent and Cowork Actually Do
Lofty's AI comes in two parts. Included: the Cowork assistant, AI lead scoring and custom AI agents. Add-on: the AI Sales Agent, which texts, emails and chats with new leads by itself and books appointments, for $60 a month per 200 leads. It works on leads in Lofty, and Lofty itself is priced by quote.
What Lofty's AI does
Lofty names five AI features, and all of them run inside Lofty.
Here is each AI feature Lofty describes, in plain terms:
- AI Sales Agent (add-on): Answers new leads by text, email and web chat, asks about timeline, budget and must-haves, books appointments and hands off with context. Four languages.
- Cowork: An operations assistant inside Lofty.
- AI lead scoring and task prioritization: Ranks leads and tasks so you know who to work first.
- Custom AI agents and scheduled AI tasks: Agents and routines you set up inside Lofty, plus an MCP server that lets outside AI connect to Lofty data.
- Social Agent and Homeowner Agent: Add-on agents for social posting and past-client homeowners.
What the AI costs
The AI Sales Agent is $60 a month for 200 leads, $150 for 500, and $0.30 per extra lead a month, per Lofty's Sales Agent Packages help article. It needs a Lofty platform plan, which is quote-only.
Does it contact leads on its own? Yes.
The AI Sales Agent texts, emails and chats with leads by itself. Lofty's product page also shows outbound AI calling.
What it leaves to you
The AI Sales Agent works leads that are in Lofty. The lender, title and inspection chase on a deal under contract sits outside what Lofty describes it doing.
None of this is a knock on Lofty: its AI is built to work the leads inside Lofty, and it describes itself that way. The question is what else in your week needs doing.

Adding AI without switching CRMs
You can keep Lofty and still add AI that works outside it.
Sifta is AI that works from your phone instead of inside a CRM. It reads your Gmail or Outlook and your calendar.
When a portal lead arrives, it drafts the reply in your voice with real open times and texts it to you, and it sends first replies on its own only if you turn that on. It tracks deal dates from your email, pulls comps on any address you text it, and briefs you every morning.
